Project 52: Weekly Walk

It was so gorgeous outside today so Oooj and I went for a walk around town. I love our neighborhood, especially in the Springtime. The flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping, and it’s just very quiet Β and calm.

There are beautiful homes all along the tree-lined streets and one of my favorite things to do is walk up and down the streets, picking out my favorite homes and usually trying to get a glimpse inside (I know that sounds so stalkerish, right?!) I like to imagine what kind of lives they live and what kind of people they are. Do you guys ever do that when you go on walks?

There are a lot of massive homes in our area but I tend to fall in love with the smaller, older homes. Of course, even the “smaller” homes are gigantic, but they just look like little babies in-between the megas.

I am so in love with this white and yellow city farmhouse πŸ˜‰ I want to take those windows home with me and keep them forever.

Check out these doors – they are my dream doors and I think I stop to look at them on every one of my walks.

My Saturday ended in a movie night with this lady. It’s been a perfect day πŸ™‚

I hope wherever you are, you’re finding your own little bit of sunshine!

  • Oh that first photo is just gorgeous!!! We aren't far enough into spring here to see any growth like that. What a beautiful sign of spring!

  • Those homes are beautiful! I love the doors! Stunning.

  • I LOVE looking at homes in my area. I can't wait for the day DJ buy our first home in Mississippi when we move down there. That first one you have pictured looks so familiar to that of a Frank Lloyd Wright creation (a style with which I'm obsessed). Enjoy the gorgeous weather! I know we are in Virginia! πŸ™‚
