Basically, you guys? It was Christmas morning. I was a HUGE fan of Barbie and dolls when I was little and going through my cherished toys literally brought tears to my eyes – this box held so many sweet memories. The three of us went through each Barbie, each doll, each My Little Pony, each piece of doll clothing, while recalling hilarious memories involving all of it. I was so thankful that my mom had kept these things, and my heart was SO full as I went through it all with both she and my dad (who were both holding back tears too).
It’s funny how little things can hold so much meaning, and of course it’s not the actual toy holding meaning, but the memory behind it. I am grateful for so many happy childhood memories.
Continuing on with my Grateful Heart: KINDNESS from last week, this week I am grateful for kind and helpful customer service people. Oh, you didn’t know they exist?! Well they DO! Never in my life have I dealt with such cool people in customer service but it’s like these two people restored my faith in customer service humanity or something 😉 Helpful, personable, kind, and with excellent follow-thru. Please and thank you!!
