This is one of the first weekends in what feels like forever that 1. Christian and I are in the same state and 2. We’re not traveling anywhere. So praise for that because I think all of this moving and traveling and shower throwing has finally caught up with me… I am exhausted! (I do have so many fun bridal shower details to share with you all next week though!) This weekend, I am looking forward to finally hanging some curtains and things on the walls and spending some quality time with Christian and The Babes.
Speaking of The Babes… these two sure know how to lounge. In fact, it’s pretty much all they do during the day. You may have noticed via Instagram that Oooj landed himself his very own couch, thanks to my parents who spoil the crap out of him. Of course this is all very normal to him… lounging and being cute and then getting presents for it. He is one happy pup. Cleo has found her own spot to lounge too, at the foot of our bed. And like the queen she is, the look she gives me when she’s on this thing is like, “You may bow down to me now, you peasant.”
Ah, I guess we’ll keep her. She’s just so pretty.
I’m linking up with Meagan today for a little Blogger Love! Here are two of my favorite reads from this past week:
Unglued by Fawn of Fawn Rosenbohm. Amazing, amazing post and one I have saved and will come back to when I need such an important reminder. Favorite Line: “You are meeting Jesus for the first time and you hear Him say, ‘I see you. I know who you are right now, and I know the deeper truth about who you really are.'”
Dreams by Jamie of The Celebrating Momma. So, so good. How many times have we thrown in the towel because it doesn’t seem to be going our way and another opportunity comes along? I’m so grateful for a God who not only wants us to dream, but to entrust those dreams to Him. Favorite Line: “I had stopped dreaming and believing in what God could do in my life, my marriage, my church, my family… in everything. I was in a rut and didn’t even realize it. I was doubting God. I had quit dreaming.”
Have a fabulous weekend!
