As I mention in the vid, I haven’t always had the easiest time finding a natural looking bronzer that works with my fair skin tone, not to mention most of the bronzers out there are shiny which also doesn’t work with my color. Well of COURSE Beautycounter would come to my rescue, right? BC has two different shades of matte bronzer, No. 1 and No. 2 (yes, that’s what they’re called. BC apparently has a thing for numbers – hello, #3 facial oil! – which actually makes it pretty easy when it comes to remembering which things I like). I use the No. 1 (the lighter of the two) and LOVE it. My makeup style is pretty minimal; most days I don’t even put on mascara. My typical Monday-Friday day routine, after I wash, moisturize, and sunscreen, is to use concealer/foundation on any problem areas (which I talk more about in the video), help fill in my eyebrows a bit, and then put on some bronzer – and that’s IT. One of the things I love about this bronzer, aside from the fact that it’s the most natural looking one I’ve tried, is that the color combo/shade in it is just enough to where I don’t need to then also use blush or a highlighter powder… the bronzer is truly enough.
My freckles come out in the summer which fortunately helps fake a tan for me but I can tell you – I will be relying heavily on this bronzer in the fall and winter months to get me through without looking like Casper. (Or clear.) (That will make sense if you’ve seen the video) 😉
If you’d like to purchase the bronzer ($39), here’s how to do it:
- Go to www.beautycounter.com/emilycullen
- My profile will pop up (like below). I typically have what’s called a Social running, which can be found on the drop down menu within my profile. Click on the month’s social and then click “Start Shopping.” From there you can search in the search bar for what you’re looking for.
And that’s it!
PLEASE let me know if you choose to order something (I always like to keep in touch to see how you like it, although keep in mind BC has an amazing 60 day return policy), and of course if you ever have any questions about a product or what product might help you/your skin, shoot me a message.
Are you a bronzer gal? And all the year-round (pale as all gettout) bronzer gals, like me, throw a hand up. HEYYY.
